Simple Team

The Simple Team type includes an Author, Assigner, and someone Responsible for completing the work.

What is a Simple Team?

Item Templates that utilize the Simple Team structure are employee-driven (bottom-up). The Item is created, assigned a due date, and assigned to a single person responsible for the completion of that Item.

What Team Roles are in the Simple Team?

The default Team Roles are listed below, but your organization may have configured custom Team Roles and/or customized the names of the default Team Roles. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager for additional information about either of these features or for help determining which of your Team Roles correlate to these defaults.

Responsible	The Responsible Person is the user who has been made responsible for working on the Item.
Assigner	The Assigner is the user who assigned the Item to the Responsible Person. They may be required to approve the Resolution before the Item can be completed.
Author	The Author is the person (or people) who originally came up with the Item, created it in KaiNexus, and/or is responsible for keeping it up to date.
Collaborator	A Collaborator is someone who contributes to the success of an Item, even if they aren't primarily responsible for it.
Follower	Followers have no formal responsibility for the Item but they are kept in the loop and notified about any activity associated with it. It is helpful to follow an Item if you are interested in it and want to know how it’s progressing.
