Delete a Network Location
CAUTION: When you delete a Network Location, it is permanently removed from KaiNexus and cannot be recovered.
Who can delete a Network Location?
Anyone with the "Quality Administrator" permission can delete Network Locations.
People with other Administrator permissions may be able to access the Network Administration page, but will not be able to make changes to it.
Delete a Network Location
Populated Locations — Locations containing nested Locations or users — cannot be deleted. You will need to edit any nested Locations to un-nest them and edit any users to move them out of the Location before proceeding.
To delete a Network Location, navigate to the Network administration page, then:
- Hover over the Location you want to delete so that it is highlighted blue, then click the x icon that appears to its right.
- Click Delete in the resulting confirmation window.
- If the Location is not empty — if there are any nested Location or users in it — an error message will appear. Click OK. You will need to edit any nested Locations to un-nest them and edit any users to move them out of the Location.
