DatesonanItem.jpg

When working with your Items, there are several dates that are captured in KaiNexus and can be set within each Item. This page explains each of the important dates that can be found on an Item.

Here are all of the following dates you will see on Items within KaiNexus:

Created Date: This is the date of when an Item was created or submitted in KaiNexus.

Assigned Date: This is the date of when an Item was assigned out and a person was made responsible for an Item in KaiNexus.

NOTE: This date will only show on Improvement, Task, and Incident workflows.

Start Date: This is the date of when the work of an Item begins and when an Item first transitions into the Active status.

Anticipated Start Date: This is when the work of a planned Item is expected to begin and when an Item is expected to transition into the Active status. Once this date passes, it will automatically become the Item’s Start Date.

Due Date: This is when the work of an active Item is set to conclude. After this date, the Item will transition into the Overdue status.

Anticipated Due Date: This is when the work of a planned Item is set to conclude. This date appears only if you are setting the Due Date while planning an Item. Once the Anticipated Start Date passes, it will automatically become the Item’s Due Date.

Resolution Submitted Date: This is the date of when an Item’s Resolution gets submitted for approval and when an Item first transitions into the Resolution Submitted status.

Completed Date: This is the date of when an Item is completed or resolved in KaiNexus and when an Item first transitions into the Complete status.

Review By Date: If a person sets an Item to be reviewed, this is the date of when the Item will need to be reviewed by the team members on the Item.

Reviewed On Date: If a person sets an Item to be reviewed, this is the date of when the Item was reviewed by the team members.

Archived Date: This is the date of when an Item is archived and when an Item first transitions into the Archived status.

Last Updated Date: This is the most recent date of when a change is made to an Item. The type of change that dictates this date is any type of change or update to an Item that generates an entry in the Item’s Timeline.
