How do I create a new Takt Time?
Once the Takt Time Impact Type has been created by your CE Lead, then:
- Navigate to the Admin section

- Click on “Takt Time”
- In the resulting page:
If you want to create a new Takt Time and have it automatically placed in a folder:
- Click on the folder’s name so that it is highlighted blue.
- Click in the top right corner of the “Takt Time” page.
- In the resulting drop-down menu, click

If you want to create a new Takt Time without having it automatically placed in a folder:
- Click in the top right corner of the “Takt Time” page.
- In the resulting drop-down menu, click

In the resulting window:
- Enter the name of the Takt Time in the “Name:” field.
- (**Optional**) Add a description in the “Description” field. This description will appear as a tooltip if you hover over this Takt Time when resolving an Item.
- (**Optional**) We strongly recommend that you enter the estimated hourly rate for this Takt Time in the “Rate:” field so that, when an Item is marked as having saved this kind of Takt Time, the system can calculate how much that time is worth monetarily.
- If your organization has multiple currencies in place with the Advanced ROI module, choose which currency this type of Takt Time uses.
- If you want this Takt Time to be the default type, check the box next to “Default.” If you do so, when someone records that their Item had a Takt Time impact, this type of Takt Time will be filled in by default, although the user can change it to another type of Takt Time if necessary.
- Select Network Location(s) with the “Locations:” field to specify that this Takt Time option only be available for Users that are within that Network Location(s).
- To help us accurately calculate the Takt Time savings of any recorded time savings, enter how many hours a day, days per week, and weeks per year the average process of this type works in the “Hours/Day:” , “Days/Week:” , “Weeks/Year:” fields, respectively.

How do I create a new Takt Time folder?
Once the Takt Time Impact Type has been created by your CE Lead, then:
