STOP: Is the Incident module active for your organization?
When you resolve an Incident, you have the option of scheduling a review of it for a future date - recorded as the "Review On" date.
This is useful for when you want a reminder to check in on an Incident after it has been in place for a while so that, for example, you can make sure that everything is still going as well as expected. If things aren't going as well as you'd hoped, you might then consider reopening the Incident to see what changes can be made to get things back on track.
Who gets notified when it's time to review the Incident?
When the review date rolls around, the Incident's Assigner will be notified that it's time to review it.
This alert will be displayed to them on the Incident itself, on their Notifications & Updates window, and will be included in their next digest email.
How do I review the Incident?
Open the Incident you want to review, then click in the top right corner of the "Resolution" section.
In the resulting window:
- Review the Resolution and make any necessary changes.
- Update the "Review On" date or click "No" next to "Review in the future?" if you don't need to review the Incident again.
- When you're happy with the Resolution, click .
