Customize Cards' headers

You can add a secondary header to any Card on your Boards and customize the color of each Card’s headers. This is a helpful visual aid if your Board has columns or rows that tie into several different topics.

Who can configure a Card?

  • The Board's Owner

  • The Board's Editors

  • Anyone with the "Board Administrator" permission, if the Board is in the specified Location(s).

How do I customize a Card’s headers?

Open the Board containing the Card with which you want to edit, then:

  • Click Ellipses.png in the top right corner of that Card.

  • In the resulting drop-down menu, hover over Layout.png.

  • Click on Edit_Headers.png.

    • You can edit the Primary Header of the Card by entering the new text in the “Text” field. If you leave this field blank, the Card will retain the title you entered on the filter window.

    • You can customize the color of the text in the header by clicking any of the colors under “Text Color:” or, if your organization has enabled this option, by using the Hex Color picker or, entering the Hex Value of the color you want to use.

    • You can customize the color of the background in the header by clicking any of the colors under “Background Color:” or, if your organization has enabled this option, by using the Hex Color picker or, entering the Hex Value of the color you want to use.

    • Clicking Swap.png will let you easily switch the current “Text Color” with the current “Background Color”.

    • Checking the box next to “Enable Gradient” will pull up another drop-down where you can click any of the colors to add an additional “Gradient Color:” to blend with the current color set for “Background Color”.

    • You can enter in text in the “Description:” field to have it appear when you hover over the title of the Card.

  • In the resulting window, if checked, under the Secondary Header section:

    • You can edit the Secondary Header of the Card by entering the new text in the “Text” field.
