Customizing a Line/Bar, Threshold, or Pareto Chart's axes

How do I customize my Chart’s axes?

Navigate to the Chart with which you want to work, then:

  • Click 2018-04-25_1054.png in the top right corner of the page.

  • In the resulting drop-down menu, click 2018-04-25_1055.png.

In the resulting window:

  • Click 2018-04-25_1106.png to open the advanced options window.

Depending on whether you're working with a Pareto Chart or a Threshold or Line/Bar Chart, different customization options will appear. If you're working with a:

  • Pareto Chart

    You can configure the:

    • X-Axis - Enter the text that should be displayed under the X-Axis in the "Title" field.

    • Control Limits - You can set the lower, average, and upper control limits in the corresponding fields, as well as the color that should be used for each.

      Check the box next to “Generate Flag” if a flag should be generated if the data is out of the control limit.

      Check the box next to “Red Markers” if data points should be made red if data is out of control - markers must also be enabled on the series configuration screen.

  • Threshold and Line/Bar Charts

    You can configure the:

    • For Threshold Charts, you can add the series that should be considered the "actual" value (to be compared against the threshold) in the "Goal Series "field.

    • X-Axis - Enter the text that should be displayed under the X-Axis in the "Title" field.

    • Left Y-Axis - You can enter the text that should be displayed alongside the left Y-Axis in the "Title" field located under the "Left Y-Axis" section.

      You can enter the range that should always be displayed on the left Y-Axis in the "Range" fields.

    • Right Y-Axis - You can enter the text that should be displayed alongside the left Y-Axis in the "Title" field located under the "Right Y-Axis" section.

      You can enter the range that should always be displayed on the right Y-Axis in the "Range" fields.

    • Control Limits - You can set the lower, average, and upper control limits in the corresponding fields, as well as the color that should be used for each.
