Who can add a Card to a Board?
- The Board's Editors
- Anyone with the "Global Board Administrator" permission
How do I add a Card to a Board?
- Open the Board with which you want to work.
- Click
in the top right corner of the Board.
NOTE: Boards have a maximum card limit of 16. Once a board has 16 cards users cannot add or copy additional cards to that board.
- In the resulting drop-down menu, click on the type of Card you want to add. You can choose between:
- A compilation of items (Projects, Improvements, Incidents - if your organization has enabled the Incident Add-On, Tasks, and Charts) which fit your selected criteria.

- Add an existing Chart or create a new one.
NOTE: If you add a chart to a private Board, that chart is NOT automatically made private.
- Add the Improvement Curve, Project Curve, User Engagement, Impact, User Participation, or Attribute Reports.

- Add a Card containing free text to your Board.

- Add an X-Matrix. Many organizations doing a formal Hoshin Kanri or Strategy Deployment process utilize X-Matrices to develop and implement tactical and strategic plans, coordinated across people throughout the organization.

NOTE If you do not see this option, either your organization has not enabled the X-Matrix module or you do not have the "X-Matrix Administrator" permission.
- Display all Boards nested under the current Board. Clicking the name of any of those Boards will open it.
- A compilation of users that meet your selected criteria.

- Add a widget to the Card, such as the Goal Guage for any threshold charts. The maximum number of rows and columns possible is 5 each.
