To get to this page, navigate to the Admin page by clicking on the left sidebar menu, look under the Organization heading, and click "Network." The admin page is only accessible by administrators; only Quality Administrators can perform the functions detailed on this support page.
What is the Network?
The Network represents your organization’s unique structure or hierarchy.
Take the above image, for example. This is merely a piece of one organization's Network.
- The KaiNexus Business System contains one department - Corporate.
- The Corporate department contains several administrative groups - Development, Executive, Marketing, Product Management, and Sales.
- The Development group contains three teams - DBAs, Front End, and QA.
Organizing your employees into neat groups, in combination with the Roles and personal notification preferences, ensures that everyone gets notified about improvement work that pertains to them.
What is a Network Location?
A Network Location is a group of users or a work unit. Each Location has a Level Type which designates what kind of work unit it is - for example, department, team, or work group.
