Defer an Incident

STOP: Does your organization have the Incident Add-On?


How do I defer an Incident?

Only people with who can edit an Incident can defer it.

  • Open the Incident.

  • Click More.png in the action bar.

  • Click 2017-02-21_1146_001.png in the resulting drop-down menu.


In the resulting window:

  • Enter a reason for deferring the Incident.

  • Enter a review date. This is the date upon which the team will be alerted that they should revisit this Incident.

  • This saves you from having to remember to review the Incident in the future.

  • Click 2017-02-21_1200.png.
