Exclude Locations from Habit tracking

Learn how to opt-out specific Network Locations from seeing Habit information in the platform

Habit Scores are a useful way to measure how engaged leaders and key stakeholders are with your organization’s improvement culture. However, if certain Locations prefer to opt out for privacy reasons, you can exclude users in those Locations from generating Habit Scores or viewing their Habit tracking data.

Ofie Profile PicPro Tip: Learn more about Habit Scores on our Habit Tracking support page.

Who can exclude Locations from Habit tracking?

Anyone with the System Administrator permission in their System Role can access the General administration page and update which Locations are excluded from Habit tracking.

Exclude Locations from Habit tracking

To exclude Locations from Habit tracking, navigate to the General administration page, then:

  • Scroll to the Reporting header.
  • Use the Excluded Habits Locations drop-down to select one or more Network Locations.
    • If you need help finding a specific Location, select the Location Search icon. The Location Search window allows you to browse the Network and apply filters to find what you need.
  • Select Save. To see changes take effect, you will need to sign out and then sign back into the system.

After Excluded Habits Locations are defined, users assigned to the specified Location(s) will:

  • No longer see the Habits tab on the Activity screen in their User Profile

  • Have their previous Habit Scores and Routines cleared

  • Stop generating new Habit Scores
