Editing Charts

Chart History

With Chart History you can view earlier versions of the Chart to see how data evolved over time or restore them to sort out a slip-up.

Two Line OfieREQUIRED: The Chart Module is required to perform the functions on this support page. Reach out to your Customer Success Manager to enable Charts for your organization.

Whenever a Chart's data is saved, a copy of the Chart is retained in its history. This enables you to refer back to a previous version at any point and to restore your Chart to a previous version if needed.

  • Every save will be kept for changes made in the last 14 days.
  • The latest save per day will be kept for changes made in the last 15-30 days.
  • The latest save per month will be kept for changes made more than 30 days ago.

What happens when a Chart is restored to a previous version?

Every aspect of the Chart's data reverts to that previous version's state. That means that any changes made since that version was created will be lost, including changes to:

  • Datapoints
  • Data series and their formatting
  • Dates and categories
  • Annotations
  • Any other formatting and configuration made to the Chart
