Customizing Cards' headers

You can add a secondary title to any Card on your Boards and customize the color of each Card’s titles. This is a helpful visual aid if your Board has columns or rows that tie into several different topics.

In the example below, we’ve added the secondary titles “Safety,” “Quality,” “Cost,” and “Morale” to each of the columns of Cards. These are the four pillars of the True North of this organization.


 

How do I customize a Card’s title?

To customize a Card’s title:

  • Click next to that Card’s title.

  • Hover over 2017-02-20_1615.png.

  • To edit the primary header - that which contains the original title of the Card - hover over .

    • You can edit the primary header of the Card by entering the new text in the “Title” field. If you leave this field blank, the Card will retain the title you entered on the filter screen.

    • You can customize the background of the title by clicking any of the colors under “Header Color” or by entering the hex code corresponding to your desired color in the "Hex Code" field.

    • You can customize the text of the title by clicking any of the colors under “Title Color” or by entering the hex code corresponding to your desired color in the "Hex Code" field.

  • To edit the secondary header - that which does not exist on the Card by default - hover over .

    • Create the secondary title by entering the appropriate text in the “Title” field.

    • Pick where on the Card you want the title to be displayed in the “Position” field. You can choose between left, right, and top.

    • You can customize the background of the title by clicking any of the colors under “Header Color” or by entering the hex code corresponding to your desired color in the "Hex Code" field.

    • You can customize the text of the title by clicking any of the colors under “Title Color” or by entering the hex code corresponding to your desired color in the "Hex Code" field.
