Recommended Board - Manager Kaizen

A Manager Kaizen Board is a different style of manager Board using 3 Cards to track Projects or Improvements.

 

How to set up the Manager Kaizen Board

 

To do - Improvements

These are the Improvements in your area that haven't been started yet.

 

  • Click  and select "Improvement List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location" and make sure that "Both" is selected so that both those Improvements authored by people in their Location and those assigned to people in their Location are displayed.

    Pro Tip: If your organization transfers responsibility of Improvements to various locations in your organization, you might want to filter for “My Location” and  “Responsible.”

  • In the "Status" field, enter "New," "Deferred," and "Draft." This will make the Card display only those Improvements which have not yet been started.

 

 

 

Doing - Improvements

These are the Improvements in your area which are currently in-progress.

 

  • Click  and select "Improvement List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location" and make sure that "Both" is selected so that both those Improvements authored by people in their Location and those assigned to people in their Location are displayed.

    Pro Tip: If your organization transfers responsibility of Improvements to various locations in your organization, you might want to filter for “My Location” and  “Responsible.”

  • In the "Status" field, enter "Overdue," "Planned," "Active," and "Resolution Submitted." This will make the Card display only those Improvements which are in-progress.


 

 

Done - Improvements

These are the Improvements which have already been completed.

 

  • Click  and select "Improvement List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location" and make sure that "Both" is selected so that both those Improvements authored by people in their Location and those assigned to people in their Location are displayed.

    Pro Tip: If your organization transfers responsibility of Improvements to various locations in your organization, you might want to filter for “My Location” and  “Responsible.”

  • In the "Status" field, enter "Complete." This will make sure the Card displays only resolved Improvements.


 

 

To do - Projects

 These are the Projects in your area that haven't been started yet.

 

  • Click  and select "Project List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location."

  • In the "Status" field, enter "New." This will make the Card display only those Projects which have not yet begun.


 

Doing - Projects 

These are the Projects in your area which are currently in-progress.

 

  • Click  and select "Project List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location."

  • In the "Status" field, enter "Overdue," "Planned," and "Active." This will make the Card display only those Projects which are in-progress.


Done - Projects

These are the Projects in your area which have already been completed.

  • Click  and select "Project List."

  • In the "Location(s)" field, enter "User's Current Location."

  • In the "Status" field, enter "Complete." This will make the Card display only those Projects which have been closed.
