Filter the list of a Project’s nested Improvements and Projects

A Project is made up of configurable fields and attributes. In addition, Improvements and Projects that all relate to the greater goal can be nested within the original Project.

Sometimes when you’re working on a Project, smaller spin-off  Projects arise. These spin-offs can be nested under the original Project so that all related work stays together.

Improvements are the building blocks of Projects. They are typically used for smaller scope improvement efforts. Improvements are what help you reach the goal of the Project.

All of a Project’s nested Improvements and nested Projects can be found under the Improvements tab and the Projects tab, respectively.

How do I filter the list of nested Projects?

Open the parent Project - the Project under which the others are nested:

  1. Open the Projects tab.

  2. Click  in the Nested Projects section.

In the resulting window, you can filter by:

  • Project type

  • Involved users

  • Level types

  • Location(s)

  • Project status

  • Additional qualifiers - flagged, private, and/or reopened Projects

  • You cannot edit the Project(s) field - it will automatically include only the parent Project you’re working with - although you can choose whether to include all nested Projects (e.g. a Project nested under a Project which is nested under the main Project) or only those nested immediately below that Project.

Click "Save & Apply" to apply this filter.
