What are a Task’s Locations?
Sometimes it's useful to identify where a Task took place. To accomplish this in KaiNexus, you can assign a Location to every Task. You can then filter a list of Tasks by Location to see which were supported by a given department, system, workgroup, etc.
A Task’s Location defaults to that of the Task’s Author and will not be automatically changed afterward, regardless of the Location of its parent. You can however, manually update the Task’s Location.
Who can change the Location of a Task?
The Task’s Assignee, Assigner, Author(s), and Collaborator(s) can change its Location.
