STOP: Does your organization have the Incident Add-On?
How do I defer an Incident?
Only people with who can edit an Incident can defer it.
- Open the Incident.
- Click in the action bar.
- Click in the resulting drop-down menu.
In the resulting window:
- Enter a reason for deferring the Incident.
- Enter a review date. This is the date upon which the team will be alerted that they should revisit this Incident.
- This saves you from having to remember to review the Incident in the future.
